Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is hiring a Propane Driver to safely and promptly deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. You will load and unload propane, perform vehicle inspections, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the highest safety standards.

You’ll coordinate with the Dispatcher for routing, maintain clean equipment, monitor inventory and tank levels with on-board tools, and be prepared for overtime during peak heating seasons.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver with CDL and Hazmat endorsement required.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Willingness to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
• Must legally work in the US; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, load, and deliver propane to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and conduct pre/post-inspections.
• Use on-board tools to monitor inventory, tank levels, and print delivery tickets.
• Schedule coordination with Dispatcher for routing and safety.
• Overtime may be required during peak business periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ThePropane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you'll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
• Current DOT medical certification required
• Willingness to rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Flex Position

7 months on / 5 months off

During your active season,you'llplay a critical role in delivering propane and supporting customers throughouthigh - demandwinter months.Off - seasonperiods provide extended time away from work between active assignments.
