Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Part Time Material Handler in the United States to join our outdoor team. The role involves inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for our delivery drivers and customers, with safety as a top priority. Hours are 11am–5pm.

This hands-on position provides training and supports a collaborative team, contributing to smooth operations and dependable service. No long-term sponsorship required and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work here; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock (when applicable).
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders as needed to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional in appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product/service information.
