Job summary

Ferrellgas is hiring a Part Time Material Handler to join our outdoor dock team. You will inspect, load, and unload propane cylinders and tanks for delivery drivers and customers, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This hands-on role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and availability to work in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock when applicable.
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders as needed for safety and quality.
• Keep yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product information.
