Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking an energetic Utility Worker to operate in the outside dock area, unloading empty propane cylinders from trucks, moving them to the refill station, and returning filled cylinders to the dock for next-day delivery.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 21+ with a valid CDL (Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred), and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old with a valid Commercial Driver's License. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck.

Responsibilities

• Unload empty propane cylinders from the truck and move them to the refill station.
• Refill cylinders and move filled cylinders back to the dock for the next day's delivery.
• Potentially perform cylinder repair and maintenance and provide customer training on dispensing propane.
• May fill in for a Delivery Rep and must meet DOT requirements to drive AmeriGas vehicles.
