Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking an energetic Utility Worker to join our dock team. You will unload cylinders, move them to the refill station, refill and return them for delivery, and may assist a Delivery Rep as needed.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, be at least 21 with a valid CDL (Hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred), and be willing to work outdoors in all weather. DOT compliance and safety training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 21 years old with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck.

Responsibilities

• Unload empty propane cylinders from trucks and move to refill station.
• Refill cylinders and reload onto trucks for delivery.
• Assist with cylinder repair/maintenance and customer training on dispensing propane.
• May fill in for Delivery Reps as needed and meet DOT requirements to drive AmeriGas vehicles.
