Job summary

The Dockworker at AmeriGas Propane, Inc. works in the outside dock area, unloading empty cylinders from trucks, transporting them to the refill station, and refilling them for the next day’s deliveries.

Responsibilities may also include cylinder repair and maintenance, training customers on propane dispensing, and handling refills for walk‑in customers. The position offers start pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ work experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Unload empty propane cylinders from the trucks and move them inside the dock to the refill station.
• Refill and reload filled cylinders for the next day’s deliveries.
• Perform cylinder repair and maintenance as needed.
• Provide customer training on dispensing propane.
• Handle refills for walk-in customers.
