Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Kennebunk, ME seeks a dependable Propane Specialist to safely deliver propane, load and unload tanks, and provide exceptional customer service. You will perform vehicle inspections, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with dispatchers for efficient routing.

The role requires a CDL, clean driving record, and willingness to rotate on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year propane-related experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B with tanker and hazmat endorsements is preferred.
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical certification are required.
• Must be willing to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, load, and deliver propane to customers and containers; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Use technology to monitor inventory, print delivery tickets, and complete driver reports.
• Maintain safety standards; perform pre/post vehicle and site inspections; report issues.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling and resolve issues promptly.
• Install propane tanks, check for leaks, respond to emergencies, and perform maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
