PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Delivers energy products safely while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Builds customer retention through effective communication and account management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Collaborates with other sales staff to increase energy product sales.
2. Responds to customer complaints and ensures satisfactory resolution.
3. Efficiently delivers propane accessories, with potential fuel delivery as needed.
4. Communicates all customer interactions to management.
5. Monitors and manages product shrink according to company policy.
6. Ensures delivery equipment is safe and maintains inspection and HOS records.
7. Follows credit policies, checks credit history, and explains policies to new customers.
8. Performs routine service on customer tank systems per guidelines.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Maintains cleanliness and proper upkeep of equipment, bulk plant, and office areas.
2. Adheres to GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3+ years of truck driving or bulk delivery experience.
2. Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes, hazmat, and tanker endorsements; valid medical card.
3. Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
4. Availability for scheduled deliveries, including nights and weekends.
5. Ability to work in extreme weather and at heights.
6. Willingness to participate in training on policies, procedures, and job-specific skills.
7. Employment contingent upon background check, drug test, motor vehicle report, and references as applicable.
