Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Georgia is seeking a Propane Driver to safely and promptly deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. You will load, unload, and handle propane while delivering outstanding customer service.

This seasonal, full-time role offers 6 months on / 6 months off with overtime during peak heating season. A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and a DOT medical certificate are required. You will work with a safety-focused team and have access to our supportive resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year propane delivery experience.
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to rotate on-call evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, load, and deliver propane to customers using bulk trucks, tanks or cylinders.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Use technology to monitor inventory, print delivery tickets, and complete driver reports.
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and site/tank checks.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and promptly report issues.
• Overtime may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

ThePropane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year propane delivery driver experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
• Current DOT medical certification required
• Willingness to rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Seasonal Position:

6 months on / 6 months off

During your active season,you’llplay a critical role in delivering propane and supporting customers throughouthigh - demand winter months.Off - seasonperiods provide extended time away from work between active assignments.
