Job summary

Pinnacle Propane is hiring a Driver I in Carlsbad, NM. This full-time driver will safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers while adhering to DOT rules and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, proper hose handling, accurate metering documentation, and strong customer service to ensure timely deliveries and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of truck driving experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals and reports.
• Safety conscious with knowledge of safe work practices in the field.
• Strong customer service mindset and reliability.
• Ability to operate in adverse weather and follow DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and deliver propane via bobtail truck to residential and commercial locations.
• Fill tanks of various sizes by extending hose to the tank location.
• Perform daily truck maintenance and ensure safety supplies are stocked.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and meet delivery windows.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections per DOT requirements.
• Record delivered gallons using metering systems and obtain signatures when required.
• Respond to propane leaks or safety hazards and follow emergency procedures.
