Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Propane Bobtail Driver to ensure safe and timely propane deliveries to customers. You will load, unload, and deliver propane while prioritizing safety, vehicle maintenance, and exemplary customer service.

Requirements include CDL A/B, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, and a valid DOT medical certification. The role may require overtime based on business needs and location of Placerville, CA.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B.
• Tanker/Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Mansioni

• Deliver propane to customers from bulk trucks, tanks and cylinders.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Use technology to track transfers, print tickets, and complete driver reports.
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and site inspections, and report safety issues.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher on routing and scheduling; report any issues promptly.
• May work overtime hours when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Sign On Bonus: This position may be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The Propane Bobtail Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Current DOT medical certification

The hourly rate ranges from $27.00 – $29.00, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.
