Job Description

Day-to-day activities include proofreading branded and unbranded promotional and disease state materials in electronic management system and ensuring integrity of changes through subsequent review stages.

Ability to edit advertising, promotional, and educational projects to ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and context; accuracy of reference format using AMA style.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or comparable field;
• prefer 2 years' experience proofreading and/or editing pharmaceutical promotional materials or other healthcare editorial experience; demonstrated understanding of grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntactic rules of the English language; understanding of Windows-based computer operating system and applications; demonstrated proficiency in the use of Acrobat pdfs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality, error-free work.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate and work well with others.
• Understanding of digital format, including mobile, web, and on demand materials.
