Job summary

US Foods is seeking capable drivers to transport and deliver products to customers. You will unload deliveries, verify orders, and collect payments when required. Safety and customer service are emphasized as part of daily operations.

Qualified applicants may hold CDL Class A (preferred) or Class B with the necessary DOT qualifications. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends, and you will be supported by an established leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Six months of commercial driving experience required.
  • CDL Class A preferred; Class B with DOT qualifications acceptable.
  • Able to read and communicate in English; basic report entry and records handling.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated areas.
  • Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Main Ingredients of the Job
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times

  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas

  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures

  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable

  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience

  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required

  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

What You Bring to the Table
  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • CDL Class A Preferred

  • Must have valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required

  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations

  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $22.60.
