Job summary

Connoisseur Media - Lubbock is seeking an entry-level, full-time Promotions/On-Air/Digital Assistant to represent our stations KONE (Rock 101.1), KLLL-FM (96.3), KBTE (104.9 The Beat), and KMMX (Mix 100.3). You’ll engage listeners, set up eye-catching displays, run games and giveaways, and assist with digital content for sales and programming.

You should be an awesome, personable, tech-savy individual who thrives in a team and is comfortable talking with the public.

Qualifications

• Experience with G Suite (docs, sheets, slides, etc.).
• Excellent driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40 pounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van appearances, and other activities.
• Conduct site checks for upcoming live broadcasts using Comrex NX.
• Execute live broadcasts using Comrex NX.
• Set up station events with tents, sound systems, and signage.
• Cover an on-air shift, live or voicetracked.
• Dress appropriately for each station format.
• Coordinate contest prize inventory and fulfillment.
• Create and recap content for photos, video, audio, and social media.
• Push app notifications and manage digital content updates.
