Job summary

Lomakatsi Restoration Project in Oregon is seeking a Promotor/a Program Manager to lead the Promotor/a Program and supervise health workers and a coordinator. You will coordinate with OSU, agencies, and partners to advance sustainability and labor rights in forest work, writing grants and managing budgets.

The role requires 3+ years of program leadership, a relevant degree, and residency in the Rogue Valley or willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, nonprofit management, education, public health, or related field.
• 3+ years experience managing community-based programs, workforce development initiatives, or public health programs.
• Experience supervising staff, contractors, or volunteers.
• Experience managing program budgets and grants.
• Proficiency with MS Office, email, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong written & verbal English communication.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Residency in Jackson County or willingness to relocate to the Rogue Valley within three months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within southern Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Promotore(as) de salud and other program staff.
• Provide daily and weekly work plans for employees.
• Develop and manage program budgets and operational plans.
• Write grant applications, proposals, and funding reports to secure funding.
• Coordinate closely with Oregon State University (OSU) and grant-funded partners.
• Maintain active relationships with partner agencies and community stakeholders.
• Represent the program in internal and external meetings and collaborations.
