Job summary

KSBW-TV, a Hearst-owned station serving California’s Central Coast, seeks a Creative Services Writer/Producer to write, shoot, edit and design promos for broadcast, streaming, and social platforms. You will collaborate with marketing and production teams to develop compelling content that drives viewers to KSBW Action News 8 and other platforms.

The role demands strong organization, a team player attitude, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality promotional material

Qualifications

• Experience creating compelling promos.
• Ability to write, produce and edit promos start to finish.
• Strong editing and storytelling for multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write, shoot, and edit attention grabbing promotion.
• Use social media and digital platforms to drive engagement.
• Produce sweeps, entertainment, and programming promos.
• Edit with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Shoot with Canon C300 and DSLR lenses.
• Collaborate with news producers and managers.
• Attend in-person as required.
