Job summary

KSBW-TV, the Hearst-owned NBC/ABC/Estrella affiliate serving Monterey, Salinas, Santa Cruz, and California’s Central Coast, is seeking a Creative Services Writer Producer to write, shoot, edit and design promotion for all media platforms.

You will collaborate with the marketing and commercial production team to develop, write, produce, and deliver campaign content for broadcast, streaming, paid media, digital, and social platforms.

Qualifications

• Media or television experience preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects preferred.
• Ability to write, produce and edit promos start to finish.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, shoot, and edit attention grabbing news topical and image promotion.
• Use station's social media and digital platforms to drive viewer engagement.
• Produce image, sweeps stories, and promotional promos.
• Produce entertainment and programming promotion.
• Edit using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Shoot using Canon C300 Mark III, DSLR’s, and an array of lenses.
• Work closely with news producers, anchors, photographers, and managers.
• Deal with the challenges of time-sensitive deadlines without compromising.
• Creative contribution across all departments.
• In-person attendance required.
