Job summary

C-Care International is seeking a Projects Intern to join the Projects Services team at the Corporate Office in Mauritius for a 4-month period. You will support the project team across planning, coordination and execution while gaining hands-on experience.

Reporting to the Head of Projects Services, the role involves assisting with documentation, monitoring progress, site coordination, and cost tracking. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and learn on the job.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or final-year students encouraged to apply.
• No prior work experience required; internship or site exposure is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of project management or construction processes.
• Good communication, coordination skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
• Support the preparation of project documentation (reports, minutes, schedules, drawings, submittals).
• Assist in monitoring project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers under supervision.
• Attend site meetings and site inspections as required.
• Assist in tracking variations, RFIs, and approvals.
• Support cost tracking, measurements, and basic quantity take-offs where applicable.
• Ensure proper filing and document control of project records.
• Comply with company policies, health & safety, and quality procedures.
