County of Volusia is seeking a skilled professional to support Facility Management projects, maintenance activities, contracts, and service agreements across county facilities. You will coordinate and monitor projects from initiation to completion, develop scopes, estimate costs, prepare procurement documentation, and ensure compliance with contract requirements while liaising with stakeholders.

Performs skilled technical and administrative work supporting Facility Management projects, maintenance activities, contracts, and service agreements throughout County facilities. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring assigned projects and contracted services from initiation through completion, including scope development, estimating, procurement support, scheduling, contractor coordination, field inspections, documentation, invoice review, and contract compliance. Works with Facility Management staff, County departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to help ensure work is completed safely, timely, within established scope, and in accordance with County requirements.

Graduation from high school or Vo-Tech school or possession of a GED; and two (2) years' experience in building maintenance or project/contract management.
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.
Must obtain a valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days of hire and maintain thereafter.
Ability to stand; lift up to 50 pounds.; stoop, crouch, pull, push, kneel, reach overhead, climb, crawl, bend, and reach; and possess hearing and visual acuity, including peripheral vision and depth perception, necessary to operate a motorized vehicle.
Both inside and outside work. Ability to tolerate wind, heat, humidity, cold, dust, fumes, odors, and rain. May involve exposure to closed or confined spaces, chemicals, and biting insects.
Ability to read and comprehend professional manuals, legal documents, ordinances, statutes; instructions, reports, abstracts, financial reports, letters, and summaries. Ability to write reports, evaluations, summaries, letters, financial reports, procedures, and policies. Ability to perform advanced mathematical functions. Ability to speak publicly and extemporaneously; conversant in policies, techniques and procedures of discipline. Ability to analyze data and develop conclusions. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
