Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Water Resources Engineer with 4–10 years of experience to support our Water Resources Group on municipal projects. You will analyze and design water resources systems and oversee hydraulic tasks within larger projects.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, with an MS in Hydrology/ hydraulics preferred, and a AZ PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• MS in Hydrology/ Hydraulics preferred.
• Arizona PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–10 years of water resources design experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff.
• Conduct stormwater modeling, floodplain and hydrologic studies.
• Assist in water resources permitting and prepare technical reports.
• Develop plans for detention facilities, storm drains and hydraulic structures.
