A multi-discipline consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Wastewater Engineer for their growing team in Suffern, New York!

Responsibilities:

1. Use technical knowledge and experience to lead projects and develop the project team’s overall capabilities.
2. Manage all aspects of projects (planning, design, construction of wastewater conveyance systems).
3. Lead development of construction documents/specifications.
4. Handle engineering services during construction.
5. Coordinate project completion with other disciplines.
6. Develop medium to large planning and design projects from start to finish.
7. Prepare complete construction packages (including all deliverables).
8. Create/manage cost estimates and project schedules.
9. Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
10. Ensure projects meet established budgets and delivery schedules.
11. Perform detailed engineering calculations/analysis.
12. Utilize design software to solve complex issues.
13. Mentor/train junior staff.
14. Meet/exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of planning, design, and construction municipal wastewater conveyance experience.
• PE License.
• Experience with:
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving project designs, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Process design, treatment plant upgrades, and pump station design.
• Data analysis/technical problem solving.
• Training/mentoring junior staff.
• Client relationship building (prepare/develop proposals) and a record of winning business.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
