Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Project/Task Manager Sr to oversee technical, cost and schedule management for assigned IT projects. The role includes developing technical plans, managing deliverables, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time results.

Candidates should have a BA/BS, 5+ years of PM experience, TS/SCI wPoly clearance, and US citizenship. PMP and IT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience in project/task management.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents and communicates project plans using Microsoft Project or similar tool.
• Manages and ensures successful completion of all tasks in assigned project.
• Identifies issues or risks and develops plans to resolve them across program teams.

PROJECT/TASK MANAGER
Provides technical, cost and schedule management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.
Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting. May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s). Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload. Manages risk tracking process. Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
