Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC in Kentucky seeks a Project Surveyor to support land surveying for transportation, boundary, topo, ALTA, and construction surveys. The role involves field data collection, equipment operation, and preparing survey drawings and reports.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients, assist with permit applications, and ensure compliance with surveying standards. A hybrid work schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• ~2+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on project work.
• ~ LSIT (Licensed Surveyor in Training) certification preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software (e.g., MicroStation, ORD, Civil 3D, Leica, Trimble, Carlson).
• Familiarity with surveying principles and local regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
