Job summary

Penn E&R in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Project Surveyor licensed in PA (PLS) to perform office-based and field-based surveying tasks across multiple market sectors.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Survey, a PLS license, and 10–15 years of civil surveying experience, including boundary work, topographic surveys, and land development. Carlson CAD skills are a plus, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Survey is required.
• Professional Surveyor license (PLS) required.
• 10–15 years of civil surveying experience.
• Experience with boundary retracements, subdivisions, and topographic surveys.

Responsibilities

• Perform deed plotting review and boundary solving.
• Attend municipal meetings for subdivision and planning submittals.
• Conduct field work and site visits for verification.
• Coordinate with field crews and assist in proposals.

You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments.Qualifications include:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Survey.Professional Surveyor license (PLS).10 to 15 years of civil surveying experience.Work experience in the following is required:Boundary retracements and subdivisions.Topographic surveys.Land Development.Carlson Survey CAD experience a PLUS.Carlson Survey data collection experience a PLUS.AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a PLUS.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide deed plotting review and boundary solve, review and stamp plans.Attend municipal meetings for various submittals such as subdivision & planning.Perform field work and site visits for verification.Data translation/transfer and point generation for stakeouts.Ability or willingness to learn LiDAR/point cloud data processing.Carlson Survey CAD and standard drafting techniques and applications.Work with your Project Manager to coordinate with field crews and assist in preparing proposals.We know that great work happens when people feel supported both on and off the job.
