Bristol City Council is seeking a Project Surveyor to lead the cladding remediation programme across 24 high‑rise blocks, based within Homes & Landlord Services. The role involves on‑site mobilisation and collaboration with Turner & Townsend and contracted teams to deliver compliant retrofit solutions.
You will work with architects, planners and residents, drawing on contract administration, project management and defect diagnosis experience to deliver a major refurbishment programme by 2029.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Project Surveyor to join The Major Projects Team at Bristol City Council.
Based within Homes & Landlord Services, you will play a lead role in the delivery of the Council’s cladding remediation programme across its high-rise blocks.
The Major Projects Team is responsible for the maintenance and refurbishment of the Council’s high rise blocks of flats, ensuring safe, warm and secure homes for our residents.
We are delivering an accelerated external cladding remediation programme across 24 high-rise blocks. The programme seeks to remove unsafe cladding and external wall insulation from these blocks and replace it with compliant, non-combustible systems, with completion targeted by the end of 2029.
This Programme Is Funded Through Homes England's Cladding Safety Scheme And Is Being Delivered In Partnership With Turner & Townsend And Their Appointed Contractors. It Is Structured In Two Phases:
Working closely with Turner & Townsend you will support the appointed contractors in overseeing the delivery of the remediation work. This will require significant periods of time out on site during the mobilisation, delivery and completion of the works.
You will collaborate with architects, planners and construction consultants throughout the duration of assigned projects. Ideally you should also have knowledge and experience in retrofit cladding systems.
