Pennoni is seeking a Project Surveyor in Princeton, NJ to manage land surveying projects full-time. You will oversee field and office tasks, plan field crews, and build client relationships under the Division Manager.

The ideal candidate aims to obtain licensure and grow into leadership roles within the department. The role emphasizes modern survey methods, experience with CADD tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable and safe project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Surveying or Geomatics (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of professional experience working in Land Surveying.
• Management and/or Project Management experience is preferred.
• Credentials such as NSPS CST or PLS; LSIT are preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
• Experience with survey-specific & point cloud processing software tools (Trimble/Bla) and software like Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity, Cyclone Core/3DR/Register 360, CloudWorx, Carlson Survey is a plus.
• Experience with Laser Scanning processing & registration is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsabilités

• Oversee the professional supervision/management of Survey & Survey Mapping projects to achieve company goals.
• Contribute to office-based processing/production efforts.
• Prepare estimates of survey needs/projects.
• Conduct boundary, ALTA/NSPS, existing conditions, wetlands and topographic surveys; support for engineering projects.
• Prepare plans and construction layout.
• Schedule field crews to meet project deadlines.
• Develop and maintain public & client relationships.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
