Job summary

Socket.dev in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from initiation through closeout. You will help manage schedules, communicate with subcontractors, and track budgets to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work closely with estimators, safety personnel, and field staff to resolve issues, document progress with photos, and maintain project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Two or more years of professional or co-op experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Viewpoint Construction Software experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager in planning and scheduling to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Coordinates resources, subcontractors, and permits; tracks progress and costs.
• Assists in pre-bid and progress meetings and communicates outcomes to stakeholders.
• Monitors budgets, invoices, and cost reports; documents changes and variances.
• Maintains project documentation, photos, and records for close-out and reporting.
