Job summary

Siemens Gas and Power GmbH & Co. KG in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Project Support PMO Professional to coordinate activities, track procurement, manage information flow, and maintain documentation to support the Pickering project through 2033.

You will work with project managers, procurement teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to keep schedules aligned, risks visible, and reporting accurate while ensuring compliance with PMO governance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a project management office, project coordination, or similar project support role.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, schedules, and multiple workstreams.
  • Practical knowledge of project support methodologies, procurement tracking, and financial monitoring.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Power BI, and other digital tools for project reporting and analytics.
  • Strong collaboration, accountability, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central coordination point for the Pickering project, managing stakeholder Requests for Information and supporting daily project execution.
  • Assist project managers by tracking schedules, monitoring progress, and identifying dependencies or risks that may impact delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items to maintain alignment and accountability.
  • Monitor procurement activities from purchase order creation through delivery, ensuring timely availability of materials and services.
  • Support financial tracking by monitoring project costs, budget adherence, and providing data for leadership reporting.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and generate regular status reports in alignment with PMO governance standards.

As a Project Support PMO Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the long‑term Pickering project within the Controls & Digitalization Project Management organization. Your day will center on coordinating project activities, managing information flow, tracking procurement and financials, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure stable, consistent execution through 2033. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to keep schedules aligned, materials flowing, risks visible, and reporting accurate. Your work ensures the project operates smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with PMO governance standards.


How You’ll Make an Impact

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in aproject management office, project coordination, or similar project support role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, schedules, and multiple workstreams effectively.
  • Practical knowledge of project support methodologies, procurement tracking, and financial monitoring.
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Project,Power BI, and other digital tools used for project reporting and analytics.
  • Strong collaboration, accountability, and critical‑thinking skills to support cross‑functional teams and project leadership.
