Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a PMO Engineering Professional in the Gas Services NA division to drive commercial policy development for the fleet and ensure consistent application through documentation and cross-organizational communication.

Role requires 8+ years in a related field, strong knowledge of gas turbine operations, and ability to leverage AI/data tools for fleet analysis. Travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in a related technical field with knowledge of combined cycle power plant maintenance, operation, and large gas turbines.
  • Ability to utilize AI and data tools for analyzing large datasets to identify fleet issues.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to drive consensus across organizations and report to executive leadership.
  • Programming and data tool development skills are a plus.
  • Willing to travel 5% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial policies for engineering issues within the service fleet.
  • Represent PMO interests at technical review meetings ensuring commercial considerations are addressed.
  • Generate business case funding requests to support program planning and cost analyses.
  • Lead development and rollout of tools and processes to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Track commercial risks and opportunities, support risk registers for projects.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives by reviewing technical inputs and impacts on service models.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a related technical field, showcasing the skills necessary to perform outlined responsibilities, along with a strong knowledge of combined cycle power plant maintenance, operation, and large gas turbines.
  • Ability to utilize AI and data tools for analyzing large datasets to identify fleet issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to gain consensus, drive solutions across multiple organizations, effectively communicate status and issues to executive leadership, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Programming and data tool development skills are a plus.
  • Willing to travel 5% domestically and internationally.
