Job summary

Bechtel, based in Chandler, AZ, seeks a Supplier Quality professional to represent the supplier's quality contact on projects. You will perform surveillance and hands-on inspections to verify that equipment, materials, and documentation meet procurement requirements, working with supplier reps to ensure understanding and implementation.

This role blends in-office and project work with at least three days per week on site; the ideal candidate has strong auditing background and experience with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience or 9+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with major commodities for semiconductor, data center, or life science projects.
• Background as a lead auditor for supplier quality systems and experience with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Represent Bechtel as the supplier's quality liaison on projects.
• Perform quality surveillance and hands-on inspections per procurement documents.
• Review requirements with supplier reps and verify implementation.
• Witness inspections, tests, and documentation; verify conformance.
• Reject nonconforming material and coordinate corrective actions.
• Release conforming material and assist coordinating with Bechtel teams.
• Support supplier quality audits and lean/six sigma initiatives.
