United States Digital Space LLC in Houston seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality surveillance planning, audits, and disposition follow-up on major energy projects. You will issue surveillance assignments, review reports, and coordinate with Engineering to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 6+ years in inspection/testing, and experience in renewables/petrochemical sectors.
In this role, you will prepare supplier quality procedures, operating instructions and develop project specific metrics. You will issue assignments for quality surveillance, capability surveys, and audits. You will plan and oversee surveillances, report technical and quality issues, and monitor dispositions and corrections.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputed University. Minimum 6 plus years of relevant industry experience in inspection and testing activities. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).Experience in Renewables, Pipeline, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, Renewable Energy, Fracking, Heat treatmentPrevious in shop quality surveillance or related experiencePrevious experience in planning inspections and tests
A minimum of 2000 hours of in-shop quality surveillance or related work. Must be a US Citizen.
