Job summary

Cianbro in Maine seeks a Construction Supervisor to oversee field operations, ensuring project delivery in line with design, budget, and schedule, while coordinating with client representatives and subcontractors.

You will manage on-site safety, scheduling, material control, daily activities, and may direct on-site administration staff and engineers. Travel is required to meet project needs and interfaces with design changes and ongoing construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Heavy Civil, Marine, Concrete Construction experience is essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure delivery per design, budget, and schedule, interfacing with client representatives and other contractors.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions including safety, scheduling, material control, and daily activity planning; may direct on-site admin staff and engineers.
• Supervise craft employees and other contractors as required by the contract.
• Provide technical assistance and recommend construction methods; suggest alternatives to mitigate delays during design changes and ongoing construction.
• Coordinate resources to effectively manage the work area.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.
