Job summary

Cianbro seeks an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead field operations in our Baltimore area projects. You will oversee on-site activities, interface with clients and contractors, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires responsibility for safety, scheduling, and field coordination, with a strong emphasis on communication and leadership. Travel is required, and compensation ranges with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Heavy civil, marine, concrete construction experience is essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure project delivery aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including safety, scheduling, material control, and daily activity planning.
• Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors per contract requirements.
• Provide technical assistance and recommended construction methods; propose alternatives to mitigate delays and interface issues during changes.
• Coordinate resources to effectively manage the work area.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field operations to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, other contractors, etc.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions –including project safety, scheduling, engineering, material control, daily activity planning, and may provide day to day direction of onsite administration staff and engineers.
• Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
• Provide technical assistance, recommending construction methods and equipment as required, suggesting alternatives to mitigate delays and interface issues during design changes and ongoing construction.
• Coordinate resources to successfully manage the work area.
• Ensure all onsite personnel complies with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
