Job summary

WELBRO Building Corporation in the Greater Orlando area seeks a Project Superintendent with industrial project experience, specifically distribution centers. You will oversee field staff and subcontractors, coordinating day-to-day scheduling, procurement of materials, and safety compliance to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective construction.

You will work with the Project Manager, Assistant Superintendents, and Project Engineers to plan and execute construction efforts, interface with Owners

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent years of technical training.
• Six years experience in a supervisor role for a commercial general contractor; at least three years of industrial project experience.
• Ten years experience working on commercial building projects or education project experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage field supervisors, craft employees, and subcontractors.
• Well-rounded knowledge in all aspects of construction, but in-depth expertise in commercial buildings, craft activities, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
• Proficient in technology project management software applications such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Physical demands include occasionally lifting up to 20lbs.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards and adheres to all safety regulations and procedures.
