Job summary

Pike Construction Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Project Superintendents to join our Syracuse and North Country team.

Roles vary from Assistant to Senior Superintendent, overseeing projects from start to finish and ensuring safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include generating and maintaining the master schedule, coordinating with vendors/subcontractors, and delivering daily reports and submittals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Project Engineer or relevant experience in commercial construction.
• 5-10 years as Assistant Project Superintendent or relevant experience in commercial construction.
• 10+ years as Project Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Generates the master schedule and leads the effort to maintain project progress and on-time delivery.
• Creates a safe, cooperative, and productive on-site environment.
• Produces daily reports, RFIs, change orders, weekly reports, and submittals.
• Monitors costs within their area of responsibility and explains variances.
• Contributes to buyout decisions and subcontractor selections.

Education

3 years as Project Engineer or relevant experience

5-10 years as Assistant Project Superintendent

10+ years as Project Superintendent
