Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Project Superintendent for a design-build bridge and highway job north of Tampa Bay in Florida. This onsite, full-time role leads field operations, directs foremen and subcontractors, and collaborates with the project manager and engineers to deliver safe, on-time results.

You will own site safety as OSHA competent person, coordinate FDOT inspections, track field cost against budget, and develop daily reports.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of bridge construction on heavy highway projects.
• Experience as a superintendent on bridge or interchange projects.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA Competent Person certification or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and valid license.
• Design-build project experience is a plus.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate.

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring a Project Superintendent for a design build highway and bridge job north of Tampa Bay. This is a strong opportunity for a Bridge Superintendent, Structures Superintendent or Project Superintendent who wants to run the field on a sizable job for a stable employer. You'll run foremen and subcontractors, set production and own safety, schedule and budget in the field, much of it FDOT work. Tampa Bay and Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.
