Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Project Superintendent for our Odessa, TX projects. You will coordinate on-site activities with project managers, engineers, foremen, and field personnel to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, reviewing plans and specs, managing master and weekly look-ahead schedules, supervising subcontractors, ensuring site safety, and mentoring field personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven leadership or supervisory role on construction projects.
• 10+ years of construction experience; Oil and Gas plant experience is a plus.
• Insurable driving record and ability to pass safety training.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project preferred.

## Project SuperintendentApply: Projects - TX: Odessa - Corporate: Full time: Posted Today: R1477Take your next step with Saulsbury Industries!Location: Project Based - TX Type: Full time**General Information/Job Summary:**Superintendents will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well work with project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel and other office departments, to deliver successful projects to owners, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.# **Responsibilities/Competencies*** Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.* Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.* Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.* Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.* Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data and execute project based upon said documentation.* Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.* Manage the overall project and 3 week look ahead schedules, including creating the master schedule and updating it on a weekly basis.* Work with the project team to manage the company’s quality control program for the project.* Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.* Management and supervision of work crews on-site including...* Mentor and train field personnel.* Manage foreman and their duties and ensure all have resources and information to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently.* Provide performance evaluations of field personnel.* Manage the overall safety of the project and ensure all personnel have resources to perform their work safely.**Requirements*** 5+ years of proven leadership or supervisory role.* 10+ years of construction experience, Oil and Gas Plant experience a plus.* Basic computer skills with experience in MS Office and MS Project preferred.* Insurable driving record**Safety Requirements*** On a continual basis, promotes an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompany policies* Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program* Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education* Attends safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management* Attends various training classes as may be assigned by management* Perform related duties and responsibilities as required* Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work* Must own Fire Resistant Clothing (FRC)**Physical Requirements*** Manual and finger dexterity* Eye-hand coordination* Depth perception* Ability to see things clearly that are beyond arm’s reach (far visual acuity)* Ability to see small detail* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds* Ability to climb 30-foot ladders without resting* Ability to maintain balance on catwalks and narrow workspaces* Ability to stand for long periods of time* Ability to reach above head while sitting or standing* Ability to reach below knees while standing* Ability to stoop or kneel* Ability to work 60 or more hours each week* Ability to work at heights a minimum of 20 ft.* Ability to stand for long periods of time.**Work Environment*** Employees in this position must be able to perform under the following conditions:* Awkward or confining workspaces* High places* Out-of-door environment* Noisy Environment* Dirty Environment* Air contamination (dust, fumes, etc.)* Near or Below Freezing TemperaturesSaulsbury is an equal opportunity employer.
