Job summary

AUREATE seeks an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for commercial projects, lead field teams, and coordinate subcontractors. You will enforce OSHA standards, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure drawings and specs are correctly implemented.

The role requires a minimum of 10+ years in construction with 4+ years in supervision, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore, Buildertrend, and MS Project. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • Ten+ years in construction with at least 4 in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Construction, the Project Superintendent oversees all on-site operations for commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, medical facilities, warehouses, and mixed-use developments. The Superintendent is responsible for supervising all field activities, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around a construction site for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
