Job summary

ANF Group, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to provide leadership for on-site field administration, supervision and technical management of construction operations.

You will supervise foremen, trade subcontractors and other site personnel, coordinating plans, specifications and schedules to ensure quality and on-time completion. This role assists the project superintendent through the building cycle from demolition to turnover, aiming to stay within budget, maintain safety, and strengthen client

Qualifications

  • Technical college degree or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years construction-related experience.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and understand specs.
  • Able to communicate effectively with diverse people.
  • Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course.
  • Maintain First-Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Understand essential Project Manager functions.
  • Proficient with Viewpoint, Primavera, Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Job description

Provide overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of foremen, trade/subcontractors and other construction-related personnel. Assist with directing the planning, coordination, and execution of work on time, within budget, attaining or exceeding profit goals, maintaining a safe workplace, promoting and enhancing client relationships and the company image. Assist the project superintendent with the construction of a building from demolition, excavation and foundation phase through actual construction then turnover to the owner/developer.

Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recording daily reports
  • Responsible for manpower counts for all trades on the job
  • Provide direction to trade persons and subcontractors by coordinating plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure quality and on-time completion of work.
Educational, Skills, and Experience Requirements
  • Technical college degree or equivalent required.
  • At least two (2) to five (5) years of construction-related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course
  • Maintain current certifications in First-Aid and CPR
  • Generally understand the essential job functions, duties, and responsibilities of a Project Manager
  • Competent with PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications. These include: Viewpoint, Primavera, Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Working Conditions

Physical requirements include the following:

  • Required to walk the jobsite.
  • Must be able to inspect the jobsite, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, etc. to view progress of construction.
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp, write, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects with the human body.
  • Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person and over the telephone.
  • Visual ability sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
  • Ability to sit, stand, drive, walk for 2-10 hours per day.
