A disaster restoration company is seeking a highly organized Project Superintendent in California. Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in construction and/or emergency services.
  • Proven experience in restoration and mitigation project management.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and inspection protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • IICRC certifications preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Project Superintendent for
cleanup/mitigation and repair projects. This role requires someone who can perform the job as well as manage labor, coordinate with inspectors, and ensure timely and quality completion of restoration work. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have 7 or more years of experience in construction and/or emergency services including board-ups, water/fire damage mitigation, and property repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform emergency board-ups and secure properties as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate mitigation and repair projects
  • Work alongside Alert Project Managers.
  • Attend and represent the company during inspections with adjusters, city officials, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, photos and progress reports.
  • Meet budgets and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Subcontractor Relationship Development and Management
  • Customer Relationship Building
