Job description

Method Builders is seeking a high-level, motivated Project Superintendent to join our team. This role is designed for an experienced professional who blends field-tested technical expertise with strategic project leadership across multiple job sites. You will serve as the primary driver of project execution, acting as a trusted resource for subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered on budget, on schedule, and to our exacting standards.

This is a dynamic, dual-faceted role: you will be deeply engaged in field operations while assisting with project logistics, scheduling, and sub coordination from a strategic standpoint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Leadership & Performance: Direct and oversee subcontracted crews on active job sites, making decisive, on-the-ground adjustments to ensure peak performance, efficient sequencing, and strict quality control.
  • Print & Document Mastery: Maintain an absolute understanding of construction documents, structural prints, and architectural details, ensuring every phase of construction is executed with total accuracy.
  • Logistics & Workflow Ownership: Organize and coordinate daily tasks, material deliveries, and trade schedules, taking proactive ownership of multi-project logistics to eliminate downtime.
  • Code Compliance & Agency Coordination: Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of current building codes and lead on-site walkthroughs with building officials and inspectors to secure approvals smoothly.
  • Safety Culture: Enforce rigorous site safety protocols, fostering a culture of compliance through personal example, clear communication, and unwavering expectations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with project managers, architects, clients, and engineers, maintaining transparent communication and full accountability over project milestones.
  • Craftsmanship Enforcement: Deliver and demand craftsmanship of the highest caliber, ensuring Method Builders’ quality benchmarks are met or exceeded by every trade on site.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in construction supervision or field management, ideally managing wood-framed residential, multifamily, or commercial projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred; an equivalent blend of extensive field leadership experience and technical trade background will be highly valued.
  • Technical Knowledge: Exceptional understanding of building standards and code requirements for diverse commercial building types.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to direct diverse crews, write clear field updates, and collaborate effectively with design professionals and owners.
Physical Requirements & Travel
  • Must be able to safely navigate active, hazardous construction environments, climb ladders, maneuver pitched roofs, and access confined spaces (crawlspaces/attics) as required for quality verification.
  • Ability to work in variable weather and temperature extremes and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for travel between active job sites across the Front Range and mountain regions.
  • Must be fit to utilize standard personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection if required on site.
