Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring in Oshkosh, WI for a Project Staging Specialist and Receiving. The role focuses on coordinating project staging operations, receiving, and shipping, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficient material handling.

You will collaborate with Operations and shipping to ensure timely deliveries, manage project folders, and support special project modifications while complying with safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 75lbs.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Email & Internet use.
• Comfortable using RF devices or warehouse tech.
• Experience/knowledge of warehouse equipment and machines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating operational and admin activities of Project Staging, including receiving, shipping, and material management.
• Modify and support special project staging requirements as needed.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with sales, vendors, and freight companies; verify quantities against documents.
• Create and maintain project folders and archive as required.
• Coordinate outbound deliveries with shipping; understand daily routes and transfer system.
