Viking Electric is seeking a Project Staging Specialist and Receiving in Oshkosh, WI. The role supports coordinating receiving, shipping, and project material handling in a dynamic electrical distribution environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $26.00 plus benefits. Join a team backed by Sonepar and contribute to efficient, accurate project staging and logistics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently lift, push and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and basic email/internet use.
• Familiarity with RF devices or warehouse tech is preferred.
• Experience/knowledge of warehouse equipment and machines is desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the Project Staging operations, including receiving, shipping, and managing project material.
• Perform special modifications as required and support other logistical services.
• Create and maintain project folders, organize packing slips, and archive folders.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with sales, vendors, and freight companies; verify quantities against documents.
• Work with shipping to coordinate outbound deliveries and schedule equipment as needed.

Project Staging Specialist and Receiving

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule:Monday to Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm

Hourly pay: $21.00/hr - $26.00/hr

**Compensation for this position includes hourly salary, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.**

To assist in the coordination of operational and administrative activities of the Project Staging, including receiving, shipping, and managing project material. Perform special modifications as required and support other various logistical services.

You will:

• Provides direct communication with Operations Manager on all project staging area needs such as: storage space requirements, equipment and working area needs (IT equipment, packaging supplies, or safety equipment).
• Coordinate inbound shipments with sales, vendors, and freight companies. Monitor and verify incoming shipments by checking items and quantities against supporting documents.
• Create and maintain project folders of packing slips in a consistent and orderly manner. Close out and archive project folders as required.
• Stay current with special project staging requirements that may arise for each job. Assemble, package, sort, and label to meet special project specifications and modifications.
• Work closely with shipping department to coordinate outbound deliveries, including scheduling of specialty equipment when required. Understand daily delivery functions, routes, and transfer system.
