Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Project Specialist to lead the design, purchase, and installation of bulk cryogenic equipment for gas production and processing. This role collaborates with the Cryogenic Service Manager, Service Coordinator, service technicians, sales personnel and customers to manage cryogenic bulk system installations.

Responsibilities include site visits with Sales, providing cost estimates, coordinating equipment orders and transportation, and ensuring compliance with SOPs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in project management, ideally in the industrial gas industry.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Lead weekly project calls with the Sales Team to provide updates and long-term planning.
• Input capital requests to cover equipment and installation costs for bulk gas systems.
• Order equipment and schedule transportation of primary components of bulk gas system installations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Participate in customer meetings as needed.

JOB TITLE - PROJECT SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY:

The Cryogenic Service Project Specialist is to perform all assigned/associated duties with the design, purchase, and installation of bulk cryogenic equipment for the production, conversion, and sale of gases manufactured and processed by The Company. This role works closely with their Cryogenic Service Manager, Service Coordinator, Service Technicians, Sales personnel, and customers on the project management of cryogenic bulk system installations. Equipment to include: cryogenic tanks, vaporizers, pumps, gas mixers, and high pressure gaseous systems. Perform site visits as needed with Sales Reps to evaluate, cover project timeline and obstacles, and recommend solutions. Perform cryogenic system design and provide cost estimates to the Sales Reps. Ensure installations are performed in compliance with all SOPs, codes, CGA standards, and government regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Pay Range is $72,000 to $82,000 DOE per year
