Beacon Health Foundation is seeking a highly organized and creative communications professional to help bring our fundraising, donor engagement and stewardship initiatives to life.

The Project Specialist, Foundation Communications serves as the operational hub for Foundation communications—coordinating campaigns, donor communications, impact reports, events and digital content from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Two to four years of experience in communications, marketing, project management, fundraising, nonprofit work or a related area.
• Excellent writing, communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple communications projects, timelines and production schedules.
• Coordinate print and digital campaigns, donor recognition programs, stewardship initiatives and fundraising communications.
• Develop donor emails, newsletters, appeal materials, reports, presentations and digital content.
• Gather stories and information from Beacon associates, physicians, clinical leaders, patients and program representatives.
• Coordinate with printers, creative vendors, freelancers and other production partners.
• Manage approvals, version control and project milestones.
• Support donor communication journeys and meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Track campaign results and communications effectiveness.

The Project Specialist, Foundation Communications serves as the operational hub for Foundation communications—coordinating campaigns, donor communications, impact reports, events and digital content from concept through completion. Working closely with the Director of Communications, this position manages timelines, workflows, approvals, vendors and deliverables while helping ensure consistent messaging and an exceptional donor experience.
