Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking a communications professional to support internal messaging and content management across emails, news articles and announcements. You will curate intranet content, assist the digital marketing team with social media content, and help design on-brand visuals and employee recognition materials.

A bachelor’s degree and 2 years' experience are required; experience with large organizations is a plus.

Job description

General Summary

Provides internal communications support for the organization through timely, efficient and accurate facilitation of low- to medium-complexity tasks and content management, often routine or assigned, using established mass communications guidelines, processes and channels. Seeks guidance/assistance from Advancement leadership on more complex issues and projects and works collaboratively on requests, projects and events as a contributing member of the Advancement team when needed.

Principal Job Functions
  • *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
  • *Writes, creates and distributes internal communications such as emails, news articles and announcements.
  • *Actively seeks out inspirational stories and connections to purpose through leaders and staff members.
  • *Curates and maintains intranet and employee app content.
  • *Insures compliance with copyediting and branding Bryan Health documents and materials.
  • Supports the communications supervisor in facilitating leadership meetings and co-worker forums.
  • Collaborates with the communications supervisor to create and execute internal communications strategy.
  • Assists the digital marketing team with content planning and creation for social media channels.
  • Creates and maintains the internal communications content calendar.
  • *Curates a monthly calendar featuring health care recognition days, holidays and popular observances to share with staff.
  • Creates and edits video and/or photography content related to employee recognition, news and events.
  • Creates and edits employee features and patient experience videos.
  • Produces basic designing of on-brand visual elements to complement messaging and pique employee interest.
  • Complies with all company personnel policies and practices as well as all federal, state and local standards/requirements.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Education And Experience
