Working closely with the Director of Communications, this position manages timelines, workflows, approvals, vendors, and deliverables while helping ensure consistent messaging and an exceptional donor experience.

This is an excellent growth opportunity for a communications professional with approximately two to four years of experience who is ready to expand their skills, take greater ownership of projects, and grow within Foundation communications. The strongest candidates will bring communications experience first, project-management skills second, and an interest in supporting meaningful fundraising and donor-engagement work.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage multiple communications projects from assignment through implementation.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, task lists, and production schedules.
  • Coordinate project meetings, status updates, stakeholder communications, and approvals.
  • Coordinate print and digital campaigns, donor-recognition programs, stewardship initiatives, impact reports, and fundraising communications.
  • Develop and produce donor emails, newsletters, appeal materials, reports, presentations, and digital content.
  • Gather stories and information from Beacon associates, physicians, clinical leaders, patients, and program representatives.
  • Coordinate with printers, creative vendors, freelancers, and other production partners.
  • Manage approvals, version control, workflows, and production milestones.
  • Support donor-communication journeys and meaningful engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain project records, planning tools, dashboards, and tracking systems.
  • Assist with measuring campaign results and communications effectiveness.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of professional experience in communications, marketing, project management, fundraising, nonprofit work, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, content-development, or campaign-coordination experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project-management or workflow-tracking tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in professional growth.
Preferred Experience
  • Healthcare, nonprofit, foundation, fundraising, or donor-communications experience.
  • Experience coordinating direct mail, digital communications, email campaigns, or content production.
  • Familiarity with CRM, donor database, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience working with creative vendors, printers, or freelance partners.
  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe products, including Acrobat, InDesign, or Photoshop.
