Job summary

TEKsystems in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, program, test, start-up, certify, and train customers on security and low-voltage systems. Travel locally for projects of varying sizes and complexity is required.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-facing, and excels at problem solving, with the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams and work safely on-site. This contract-to-hire role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with security systems, fire alarm systems, low-voltage installation, or related construction environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Urbandale, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
