Location: Hybrid (In-office at least 3 days a week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Project Specialist to join our team at a leading human rights organization. This role is a contract-to-hire position, with the potential to become a permanent role. The Project Specialist will be responsible for managing various projects and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management (65%):
  2. Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
  3. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  4. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Prepare and present project reports and updates to management.
  6. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  7. Administrative Support (35%):
  8. Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  9. Manage correspondence and communication with stakeholders.
  10. Maintain project documentation and records.
  11. Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management and administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel.

Work Schedule:

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days a week. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
