Job summary

SunstallInc. is seeking an experienced SolarProjectSupervisor to oversee field operations and lead project teams in mechanical solar construction across the United States.

The role ensures safe, efficient, on-schedule work aligned with project specifications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in utility-scale solar construction, 2+ years in supervision, OSHA 30 certification, and the ability to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of utility-scale or commercial solar construction experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or field management experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical ground-mount solar construction.
  • Experience managing multiple field crews.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work away from home for extended periods.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor field crews to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
  • Plan daily activities and assign labor and equipment to maximize output.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, General Contractor, Owner and other trades.
  • Ensure work follows drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor progress and adjust resources to meet project goals.
  • Maintain organized workflow and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

PositionSummary

TheSolarProjectSupervisorisresponsiblefortheoverallfieldleadershipofassignedprojects.Thisroleoverseesdailysiteoperations,supervisesfieldpersonnel,coordinateswithprojectmanagementandothercontractors,andensuresworkiscompletedsafely,efficiently,onschedule,andinaccordancewithprojectspecifications.

TheProjectSupervisorservesastheprimaryfieldrepresentativeforSunstallandisresponsibleforpromotingacultureofsafety,qualityworkmanship,accountability,andteamwork.

  • Ensureworkisperformedaccordingtoprojectdrawings,specifications,schedules,andqualitystandards.
  • Monitorprojectprogressandadjustlaborandequipmentresourcestomaintainproductiongoals.
  • Identifypotentialscheduleimpactsorprojectrisksandcommunicatesolutionsproactively.
  • Ensureprojectscopechangesaredocumentedandapprovedbeforeadditionalworkisperformed.
  • Maintainorganizedandefficientworkflowthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.

  • Verifyworkmeetsprojectspecifications,manufacturerrequirements,andcompanyqualitystandards.
  • Coordinatecorrectiveactionsfordeficienciesandensuretimelyresolution.
  • Supportprojectpunchlistcompletionandfinalturnoveractivities.
Equipment,Materials&Logistics
  • Coordinateequipmentutilizationandmaintenanceschedules.
  • Ensureheavyequipment,piledrivingequipment,tools,andrentalequipmentareproperlyinspected,maintained,anddocumented.
  • Monitormaterialdeliveries,inventory,storage,andhandling.
  • Coordinatesitelogisticstomaintainefficientproduction.
  • Ensureproperhousekeeping,wastedisposal,andrecyclingthroughouttheproject.
